Different Types of Float Equipment’s

Float Shoe Single / Double Valve

Float Shoe Single/Double Valve: It is fitted with a valve that is used for most of the applications. The material that we used for the float shoe is seamless casing grade steel. Supplied in all grades of steel like K-55, L-80, C-95, T-95, and P110. Valve insured proper sealing in vertical as well as horizontal wells. These are PDC drillable and also offered in various sizes based on the casing size. DIC valves are made up of engineered composite material that provides highest strength with high wear resistance properties maintaining the temperature and flow rating intact. We have available single and double valve sizes from 4 -1/2” till 36”.

Float Collar Single / Double Valve

It is provided with a plunger valve in most applications. Valve ensures maximum circulation rate in vertical, horizontal, and deviated wells. The material that we used for Float Collar is seamless casing grade steel. Float equipment is provided by us in all grades of steel. These are non-metallic valve encased and also help in place with the high-pressure cement mixture. Float Collar can be ordered in the single or double valve, also available with cement nose, aluminum nose, and bladed nose. DIC all Float Equipment’s manufacturer in PDC drillable.

Reamer Shoe Single / Double Valve

These are designed to run on all sizes of casing and liners. Designed with a blade cutting structure and diamond-shaped faces that ensure the safe passage of casing and liners important aspect in the event wellbore restrictions and ledges are encountered. Reamers Shoe is available with Tungsten Carbide. The nature of the problem determines which style of shoe is most suitable. These are suitable for deviated wells. Sizes Ranges: 4 1/2” to 30” sizes. Any special sizes can be available at customer request.

UP Jet / Side Jet / Down Jet Float Collar

DIC OIL TOOLS is a UP Jet/ Side Jet/ Down Jet Float Collar manufacturer in Ajman, UAE. All Float Collars are PDC drillable. These have the capacity to circular through down-jets/center of the shoe during running in the hole. This provides a means of washing casing / liner to seat if needed. These are also available with a Double Valve for extra backpressure. This Float Collar is available in 31/2” to 20” sizes.

Guide Shoe

This is a simple and economical process to run casing in the well bore. These are attached to the casing bottom and provide exhilaration to the casing string while it’s powered. It is built-in check valve also provides exhilaration to the casing string and also prevents cement from re-entering the casing after it is removed. Guide Shoe is available in 3 1/2” to 30” sizes.

Differential Fill-Up Float Shoe

These are provided with differential valves. These Float equipment 90% casing fill up during run-in. They often use differential Collars with shoes. Only 81% casing filling provides additional impetus while further enhancing work efficiency. This design maintains constant differential pressure between the inside and outside of the casing. It is capable of running in a hole. Any Special Sizes are also available on customer request.

Differential Fill-Up Float Collar

This kind of design prevents fluid from re-entering the casing. These types of filling actions reduce the running time of casing and also reduce surge pressure on formations. It reduces the surge pressure caused by the piston effect of running in preventing I.D. A weighted ball is dropped from the surface that converts this valve into a one-way cementing valve that allows cement to fill up into the annulus.

Auto Fill – UP Float Shoe Conventional/ Non Rotating

It is always in the open position, permitting maximum filling of the casing because its running in the well bores. They can be provided in conventional as well as with non-rotating profiles. These allow the casing to fill automatically while being run into the hole. Supplied in conventional as well as with non-rotating profiles.

Stab-In Float Shoe W/O Latch in Profile

Stab-In Float Collar W/O Latch in Profile

DIC Stab-In Float Collar is provided with a stab in profile for a stab in cementing the drill pipe is stabbed direct into the float collar. Used for internal cementing operations. Stab-in latch profile float collar is provided with latch profile for drill-pipe wiper plug stab-in cementing. UP JET, SIDE JET, DOWN JET Float Shoe

All float Shoes are PDC Drillable. These have the capacity to circulate through down – jets/ center of the shoe during running in the hole. Manufactured to match customer casing specifications. This Float Shoe is available in size range from 3 1/2″ to 20”. The ports are forced circulation flow in a downward jetting action. This also provides a means of washing casing/liner to seat if needed.

Hydraulic Landing Collar

These are also used to provide a way of setting hydraulically operated oil tools by using a ball that lands on a ball seat. Hydraulic Landing Collar provides a profile for landing and bumping the wiper plugs after displacement. These are increasing the pressure after setting the hanger shears the ball seat allowed full circulation for cementing operations. The landing collars are mainly placed one or two joints above the closest float collar.
