Our best hotels
We made a tour of 2 weeks and we appreciated a lot all the overnights we made in each city. Our agency Peru Exclusive has made a wonderful selection. Las Casitas in Colca Canyon, Palacio Nazarenas in Cusco, CIRQA hotel in Arequipa, Titilaca Hotel in Puno were all perfect. Great locations and service for all. Each time we had spacious rooms with all necessary amenities.
Best visits we made
Upon our arrival to Lima, we made a pleasant walking tour in Miraflores park and in Barranco district. By the way our hotel Villa Barranco was great as well, an overall authentic experience. We enjoyed a lot the ”Circuito Mágico Del Agua” during our evening walk. Very nice water show.
The convent of Santa Catalina in the colonial white city of Arequipa was a nice discovery.
We made a great trekking in the Canyon del Cola. We like too much too walk, so it was for us maybe the best activity of our private tour.
The Lake Titicaca is certainly the main reason to go to Puno. Our hotel was located just in front of the lake so we could enjoy our stay. However, you should know that you may have some altitude sickness in Puno. It’s a bit unpleasant, but could not miss the mystical Titicaca and its islands. We wanted to discover the local life as well.
Cusco, the capital of the Incas has certainly many interesting artefacts to discover. Many buildings are based on the Inca foundations. Here you are on the path of the Incas. All the archeological sites near Cusco reflect perfectly the traditions and culture of the Incas.
And of course the famous Machu Picchu was the last but the main highlight of our luxury tour. The monument is visited by many travelers, we cannot deny it but it’s impossible to go to Peru and not to visit this architectural jewel. Don’t hesitate to get to this site by walk by Inca trail. It’s something special! Of course, you can always make a round trip by the luxury Hiram Bingham train.
Many thanks for this great tour you organized for us. Once the Covid-19 crisis is finished we will be back to make another tour in the North, especially to discover the Peruvian Amazon. Unfortunately we were short of time and we could not include it in our tour. But we believe it would be another amazing experience!
