Start collecting your own Level X Pokemon cards at a low cost
Finding the elusive level X Pokemon card in an open booster pack can be a difficult and sometimes expensive pursuit. You can search for a very long time if you bought a separate pack, and if you bought a complete booster box you guarantee only one or two-level X cards.
Vivid voltage booster boxes start at $ 90- $ 500 depending on what you want to open, so this is not economical. After reading this article you will become more aware of how to get good deals on cards and how to close the deal on a big deal!
First, the easiest way to get good deals on Level X Pokemon cards is to buy them once they are out of the booster pack. Card shops, fly markets, and eBay auctions should be the first area of your search. This way you can apply different strategies to get a good bargain.
If you search the card shop or the fly market, you prepare the information before you arrive. Find out which cards you’re selling on eBay so you know which ones are good and which ones aren’t. Second, if you are in the market for multiple cards, try to buy them on the same trip if the price is right.
That way you can work with the dealer and say “I’ve got multiple cards I’m interested in, if I buy them all, can you do better at a price?”. Give it your best shot and always try to make a bargain!
Lastly, do a regular eBay search for the big lots that hold your card. Say for example you are looking for a Wookie Level X which usually sells for around 50. If you can find it in multiple cards with a few other level X cards for 60, buy it and resell other cards! Once you do you will get Uxie at an exceptional price.
If you are patient and enjoy looking for the best deals on the internet and in the local fly market, you will eventually find great success. If you have time, check once a week at places where you have bought something before. The sellers treat the returning customers well and you will probably get discounts in the future!
