In the beginning the Outlook and Mozilla thunderbird on the same tools, then one can easily export Outlook emails to Thunderbird by following a few steps:

Go to the start button and press Default Programs >> Set your default programs.
Now Select Outlook from the Programs tab and click on Set this program as default setting. Click the OK button to save.
And next, Launch the Mozilla thunderbird and press on the Display the Thunderbird Menu option.
Navigate to Tools >> Import
Select Mail, and you can select the Import Everything option and click on Next button.
Select Outlook as a file type and click on Next button.
At the last, press the Finish button to complete the import process.

This will export all emails in the Outlook email client to the thunderbird interface.

Step: 2. You can use Google Takeout to import PST file into MBOX file format

In this point of view, the configuration of the Gmail account in your Outlook program is needed.

After the configuration of the account following these steps are as carefully:

Open the Google Mail account and navigate to Settings >> Forwarding and POP/IMAP and click the radio button “Enable IMAP”.
You can Launch Outlook and Go to the File >> Add Account option.
Enter your login username and password of the Google account.
And then make a new folder within the newly configured Gmail ID and move the required Outlook emails to that folder.
After that, Log in to your Gmail account using google chrome and open Google Takeout.
To select data to include a tab, deselect all the options, and check out the Mail option only. Make sure to check out the Include all messages in Mail option provided under the All Mail data including with category. Click on Next after creating the necessary changes in it.
In the Customize archive format tab, Identify the Delivery Method, Export type, File type & size, and Click on create archive button.
When the archive is created by Google.Then You can download the ZIP file presenting the Outlook data in the MBOX file format. Click on the Download option to download the ZIP file in your local machine.
Take out the downloaded ZIP file in a convenient directory. You will run into the MBOX file carrying all your emails.
Open all these emails using Mozilla Thunderbird Email.
