All the meditation beginners in the house…welcome to the club! Every meditation beginner goes through this dilemma, “when is the best time to meditate?” or possibly “how to manage time for meditation when I am overworking, overstressed, or not in the mood?”
Please know that meditation is specially designed to calm your body and mind and establish peace within. Meanwhile, to gain its benefits, you can do meditation at any time of the day especially when you are out of control and feeling nervous.
To begin with, manifestation is a practice of thinking aspirational so that you can convert positivity into reality. Well, now you may understand why manifestation memes are trending these days over social media.
We all hope for a better future…don’t we? It can be really sensed during the pandemic situation wherein we all just prayed for a better future, fewer deaths, and dissolving the deadly virus from the world. In fact, we are all blown by the practice of manifestation.
Because manifestation helps us in accomplishing something we have always dreamt of and we couldn’t get it into reality. But, do you agree that thinking positively about our dreams and wishing they come true someday is all we need? Let me again bring this question to you…does manifestation really work? Do you still think?
However, there are some best timings and tips as well related to meditation. In this blog, I am going to tell you about how to find the best time to meditate along with some tips. So, let’s get started.
Is there a best time to meditate?
A lot of people ask us… when is the best time to meditate in…morning or evening? Well, experts have different outlooks on all the timings. And, another fact to keep in mind is that the ideal meditation movement actually varies from different personalities. Below are the views of experts when asked “when is the best time to meditate?”
1. Morning meditation
As per experts and professionals, the morning is considered to be the best time for practicing meditation. Ask me why… because the timings are more fresh and quiet. People who are likely to practice meditation every day enjoy meditation, mostly in the morning. Meditation in the morning helps us with staying productive and calm throughout the day. And, it also helps in setting a routine especially for those who are not able to doze off early hours during the night.
Additionally, we tend to feel fresher during the morning. Moreover, there are fewer worries and negative thoughts. If you will start practicing meditation in the morning, you will probably get close to success.
2. After work meditation
Some people prefer after-work meditation to release the stress and tension from their minds and body. If your job is demanding, you can also try meditation after work as it will help in establishing peace. It also creates a clear boundary in your personal life and after-work life. You can also enjoy “me-time” while meditating after work. It will also help in building more attachment and love within your family and you will also get time to seek benefits from leisure activities. According to my opinion, after-work meditation is also the best timing for meditation as it helps in gaining more peace and releasing tension.
3. After lunch meditation
Lunchtime meditation or after lunch meditation can be considered as the best timing as it helps to regain the power and energy for the second half of the day. It can also be considered as a much-needed break from the overstress of work. Meanwhile, you can also consider meditating in small parts after completing a meeting or any task. The major benefit of the after-lunch meditation is that it helps in loosening the stressed muscles. If your workplace has a dedicated yoga or meditation place, you can consider meditating there and relaxing. It will also help in boosting creativity, productivity, and overall wellbeing.
4. Stressed out meditation
Stress is an inevitable part of our life. We cannot stop it however, we can learn to control it or manage it. Whenever you feel stressed, you can try finding out some moments for yourself, it does not matter whether you are at work or at home. If you are at home, do not spend your time on social media or digital devices;
instead, try to calm yourself with the help of meditation. There is no designated timing for stressed meditation; you can do it whenever you feel stressed or overwhelmed. You can also take the help of a meditation timer or any app that guides you through meditation. In such cases, you can also try mindfulness meditation.
5. Before bed meditation
You can also meditate before stepping into the bed as your regular meditation. If you are not a morning person, you can definitely opt for before-bed meditation as it will help in unwinding all the negative energies around you and will help you in having a proper sleep throughout the day.
All you have to do is to stay aware, focused, and alert whenever you meditate. Before bed, meditation is also good for treating insomnia, improper sleep, and more sleep-related issues. It will result in more joy and improved wellbeing. if you are not able to focus, you can also play light music and then meditate to unwind your negative thoughts and stress.
