Which Motorcycle Would You Choose – The Mutts Nuts
Everyone has their own taste when it comes to pretty much anything, even more so though when it comes to motorcycles. As far back as most people can remember, there have always been various styles of bikes, but today’s offerings are simply outstanding, to the extent that you could quite easily get caught up, and not know what to go for based on the amount of choices you have. If you’re looking for a new motorcycle and want to look at the mutts nuts, let’s start with the basics.
Experienced rider?
If you already have a licence and have been riding a bike for some time already, then you’re probably better placed to make a choice based on your experience so far; however, have you tried various bikes, or have you had the same bike from the get go? If you’ve had the same bike for a few years and are looking for something new then you will likely be amazed with what’s on offer these days.
As you will have already seen when you first got into riding a motorcycle, you can choose from sport bikes, superbikes, tourers, off roaders. Off road – on roaders (off roaders that are street legal), cruisers, Mutt bikes from Wheels Motorcyles, and even hybrids that are a mix of various style combinations.
Take sports tourers for example, you get all the power and nimbleness that you would with a sports bike, but you also get the benefit of the comfort and practicality that you would get, if you went for a tourer.
The new kids on the block
Most of you will know that electric bikes are becoming more and more popular for a number of reasons, starting off with electric cars, then electric push bikes, then the introduction of electric scooters and motorbikes. Perhaps not in that exact order but, that’s pretty much how the consumer market adopted them, or how they were marketed anyhow.
So, if really good value for money is important to you then an electric bike could be the way to go, clearly you won’t be paying out for traditional fuel to run the thing, however they do lack what most people seek in a motorcycle in the first place – speed. If speed and power are your drivers then these might not be ideal for you, you could end up finding yourself feeling a bit down, with a new addition you aren’t entirely happy with.
Non experienced riders
If you are new to the motorcycle scene then you’re probably more confused than you have been in a while which is why it is so important to ‘keep it simple’. First things first is to understand why you want a motorcycle. Is it looks, speed, ease of access i.e not getting stuck in traffic like you would do with a car, which leads on to one the most common reasons – freedom?
Obviously, everybody feels differently, although it’s probably fair to say that most people will feel a little more restricted these days than they have done in previous years, therefor, as long as you get a bike that looks how you want it look and makes you feel comfortable when you are riding it, you should be able to gain that extra bit of freedom that so many aspire to find.
