What is Roman Candle Firework?

It is one of the hardest pyrotechnic items to construct, manufactured as 8 inches long cardboard tub is filled with various firework components. Commonly, one roman candle firework is filled with ten stars. That shoot straight up into the sky with no curl over, along with the consistent number of stars that light up the sky with coloured stars.

Pyrotechnic stars (the effects that shoot out), black gunpowder and a delay charge, lifting charge. Chemical bentonite are ingredients of pyrotechnic with the help of which this firework is created.

Roman candle fireworks vary as crackles, more or less ten stars, comet tails, and multiple colours. Similarly, adding compounds that discharge visible light and radiation when ignited is the process of colour manipulation. To illustrate it further, to create barium compounds that emit green light (especially BaCl2) and potassium perchlorate (KClO4) is used as an oxidizer, chemical reactions involving the dissociated elements of the perchlorate—potassium and chlorine ions.

Take the tube with eight lengths, adjust the length as required. Then carefully wrap the tube with masking tape so the charge shoots up straight.

Close the bottom of the tube with epoxy glue or strong clay.

Now, insert the black powder into the tube. Then put the composition of the stars as much as you require. Mixing it with the Pyrodex and black powder with a drop of water, let it dry.

Make small balls of the mixture that could easily fit in the tube. Subsequently, you can make as many balls as you need and start adding them into the tube.

After every ball, delay the charge by pressing the sawdust after every layer until the tube is packed with the balls.
